237 Brothers in Taekwondo USA (237BITUSA), is an American non-profit and non-governmental Organization. It was officially founded in Columbus Ohio on August 25th 2018 by natural born Cameroon Taekwondoins living in the US and beyond bound by history, culture, friendship, and ambition. We are made up of people of good faith; sharing the same passion about charity, sport promotion, and Taekwondo. Our members include active and former Taekwondo athletes, leaders, coaches, referees, advocates, and sympathizers of all ages and from all origins. We are devoted people and proud to sponsor, support, and uplift talented athletes in poor and developing nations subjected to geographical, social, cultural, and economic hardships.

237BITUSA is organized exclusively to promote sportsmanship, brotherly and sisterly love in Taekwondo with the desire of helping and contributing to the progress and development of all Taekwondoins in Cameroon, in others African nations, and around the world. We aim to support each other toward the greater community of people, that goes beyond the mere duty in Leviticus 19:18 to “love thy neighbor as thyself.” Taekwondo is intended to develop and perfect, by a rigorous discipline, all the faculties, spiritual and physical of a person. This is why we purely believe in Taekwondo’s spirit which involves respect, discipline, perseverance, combativeness, and selflessness.

WHY DO WE CARE!

237BITUSA puts a great emphasis in charity, education, culture, social, sport exchange, and investment in people to bring out the best in each individual. We thrive to empower all Taekwondoins and we are determined to invest our time and effort not only to help young athletes succeed in various Taekwondo sport domains and their personal ambitions but also to drive them to a better life and prosperous future. Our actions are simple and straight forward and the help we provide is intended to go directly in the hands of these young highly talented men and women athletes. Often, these young athletes have seen their hard workout ethics, dreams, dedications and love of the sport curtailed or hindered by the lack of Taekwondo technical expertise, the meager support they received, and most importantly the inadequate infrastructures and the scarcity of top-notch equipment supplies in the “Do-Jang” such as training bags, kicking pads, protective gears, shoes and uniforms. Moreover, they suffer tremendously from the absence of medical attention after sport injuries and an alarming paucity of therapeutic treatment which they absolutely need to succeed.
